
ULYSSES, Kan — The Goodland Cross County team competed at the 41st Annual Tiger Invitational yesterday.
The Goodland boys finished 5th in the team final standings scoring 110 total points, 29 points behind fourth place Syracuse. Ulysses won the event with a score of 41.
Trent Coon was the highest finisher for Goodland placing fourth. Noah Schears and Micah Daise were the next two GHS runners to finish coming in 22nd & 25th respectively.
Nate Schears (36th), Kade Belden (39th), Tommy Sibley (42nd) & Chandler Clayville (43rd) rounded out the rest of the Goodland runners.
As for the Cowgirl runners their top finisher was Ariane McCary who placed 26th. Claire Scheopner & Haylee Schurr finished 35th & 39th.
Goodland is back running this coming Saturday at Stanton County.
