CIMARRON, Kan — Three tournaments and now three wins for the Goodland Cowgirls golf team as they won the Cimarron Golf Tournament on Thursday.
Goodland had four girls medal, with three of them finishing inside the top ten. Kerrigan Rudolph placed fifth shooting a 44 to finish as the Cowgirls top golfer on the day. Colby Perryman shot a 49 to place seventh. Brooke Livengood shot a 51 getting tenth and Briana Woodrow finished in 14th place with a 55, which is a personal best.
“Today could have been a better day in scoring for the Cowgirls golfers,” said Goodland head coach Connie Livengood. “Could definitely been a lower team score and some individual scores. But that is what sports are all about, one team member may be up some on scores one day and one team member does her best. They have each others backs and that is what counts.”
Goodland and other area golfers will be on the links again this coming Monday for the Oakley Tournament.
