Goodland-Police-LogoOn April 23, 2013, the Goodland Police Department responded to The Bowling Alley located on Caldwell Street in Goodland.

The Bowling Alley is currently closed, and a representative of the owner was showing the lanes to a potential buyer. Upon entering the building, they noticed several individuals exit out the back door, and the police were contacted.

Officers, along with deputies from the sheriff’s department, found footprints in the alley that led to a nearby residence. An investigation ultimately led to the conclusion that the subjects in that residence were responsible for trespassing in the bowling alley.

The police are not releasing any identifying information because some of the suspects are juveniles. The suspects were released to their parents and will be charged appropriately by the county attorney.

The Goodland Police Department urges individuals to vigilant about things going on in their neighborhood. Any suspicious activity should be reported immediately to law enforcement.
