Feds, State Seek Dismissal Of Remaining Casino Claims

The federal government is asking a judge to throw out the final claim in the Wyandotte Nation lawsuit over land in Sedgwick County where they want to put a casino. The Interior Department rejected the tribe’s application to take the suburban Wichita land into a trust so it can build a casino on it. The state also opposed the application.
