The Thomas County Attorney’s Office isn’t saying if a man accused
of carrying 260 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in Thomas County showed up in court. Shortly after the stop, County Attorney Kevin Berens declined to comment on why the suspect was let go on his own recognizance, without posting bail, and now his office is refusing to say if that man from Arizona came back to court today. Public records have not been updated to reflect today’s court docket.
