The chance for much needed rainfall continues Friday and into the weekend for northwest Kansas and the Tri-State region. According to the National Weather Service in Goodland, there is also an “enhanced” risk for severe weather.
“THE REGION IS UNDER AN ENHANCED RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. ALL MODES OF SEVERE WEATHER ARE POSSIBLE…INCLUDING LARGE HAIL…DAMAGING WINDS AND POSSIBLY A TORNADO. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS ALSO POSSIBLE.”
