Elevator cracks could be result of earthquakes

Earthquakes are being blamed for cracks in a grain elevator at Argonia, Kansas. Workers notified management after they noticed cracks in the side that hadn’t been there before. Engineers looked at it, determined it was likely the result of the quakes over the past several months, and ruled the elevator is still safe to use given the layers of metal and concrete used in construction.
