Extremely hot temperatures continue, with much of northwest Kansas above 100 degrees for the third day in a row. The parts of Kansas that don’t reach the century mark today are expected to have a heat index of 105 to 110. As always, the recommendation is to stay inside as much as possible during the heat of the day and drink plenty of water if you do have to be out.
