Damage Reports Follow NWKS Storms

There are some minor reports of damage from storms that rolled across Northwest Kansas last night. A spotter southeast of Monument reports a metal storage shed and a carport were destroyed, a tree was snapped and a trailer moved about 100 feet by the wind. Later a 77 mile an hour wind gust was recorded 5 miles southeast of Gove. Our Goodland bureau reports 1/4 inch of rain, with .11″ coming down at our newsroom in Colby. The next chance of rain appears to be tomorrow night.
