Cowgirl Golf Wins Fifth Tournament

GARDEN CITY, Kan — The amazing 2019 season for the Goodland Cowgirl golf team continued Tuesday as they won the Holcomb Invitational at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course.

Cowgirls had four ladies finish top ten in the individual standings, once again led by senior Kerrigan Rudolph who placed first a low round score of 86. Brooke Livengood placed second just one shot back with an 87. Colby Perryman shot a 92 placing fourth and Peyton Belden shot a 99 placing ninth.

Briana Woodrow shot a 122 and Ashtin McClung shot a 123 but didn’t place.

As a team Goodland shot a season best 346 as a team. The team win was the fifth in a row for the Cowgirls who have yet to not win a tournament the varsity has played in.

Goodland and area teams will be back on the course competing on October first at the Stanton County Invite.
