SCOTT CITY, KS — It was another tough night at the office for the Goodland Cowboy football team as they were blown out by Scott City, 61-0. Things started out bad for GHS fumbling on there first play from scrimmage due to a high snap and it was all downhill from there.

The Cowboy offense had their worst performance of the season being held to just 65 total yards and was only able to cross the 50 once in the game.

Meanwhile, the #3 ranked Beavers rumbled for 254 yards rushing behind 77 yards and three touchdowns from star running back Wyatt Hayes.

In pitching a shutout the Scott City defense has still yet to allow any team to score this season thru three games.

Goodland is 0-3 for the first time since 2009 and will host Oakley for Homecoming next Friday at Cowboy Stadium. Scott City (3-0) will play host to Ulysses.
