GOODLAND KS–The Cowgirl volleyball team has played their way back to a .500 record after a sweep of I-80 neighbor Burlington on Tuesday night. Goodland took game one easily 25-9, then game two 25-17 and finished off the Cougars with 25-14 win. GHS, who started the year 0-2, has now won two straight and will look to continue it’s hot play in Colorado this week at the Machebuef Tournament.
GOODLAND KS– The Goodland girls golf team also was in competition on Tuesday at home. The Cowgirls were able to take 4th as a team on a beautiful day at Sugar Hills Golf Course. Two ladies medaled, Kerrigan Rudolph who shot a 96 for 8th place and Bram Perryman who shot a 100 for 15th place. Other golfers included, Colby Perryman who shot a 102, Brooke Drennen shot a 104 (her personal best), Peyton Belden shot a 107 and Keyly Jarrett shot a 108 for her personal best. Madison Studer shot a 136. Next, GHS varsity will head to Ulysses on Tuesday, September 11th.
