‘Corpse Flower’ Nears Bloom In Kansas

The plant known as the “corpse flower” is getting ready to bloom at Southwestern College in Winfield. It’s officially known as the Amorphophallus titanum and is said to smell just like rotting meat. There’s a webcam trained on the plant at GoSC.com, and the bloom won’t last long – just about 24 hours.
