COLBY, Kan. — This weekend, the City of Colby was abuzz with one of the largest annual wrestling tournaments in the state of Kansas. The 34th annual Eagle Invitational included 18 teams at three sites over two days and the Colby Wrestling team did not disappoint.

On day one, Colby defeated Hinkley convincingly, a 69-3 statement win, including six wins by fall and just one defeat.

The Eagles followed up their first win with another convincing win, this time over Liberal with a final score of 54-14, featuring four more wins by fall.
