The City of Colby has declared a Traffic Emergency because of the heavy accumulation of snow. It is unlawful to park a vehicle on the following emergency snow routes during the traffice emergency:
– Fourth Stree from East City Limits to West City Limits
– Range Avenue from Kyle Railroad Viaduct ot I-70 Interchange
– Country Club Drive from East Ninth Street to I-70 Interchange
– Franklin Avenue from Eighth Street Willow
– Pine Street from Country Club Drive to Range Avenue
– Hill Street from Country Club Drive to Franklin Avenue
– College Drive from Country Club Drive to Range Avenue
– Davis Avenue from Franklin Avenue to Range Avenue
– Horton Avenue from Intersection of K-25 through the intersection of Country Club Drive
– Willow from Intersection of K-25 through Intersection of Franklin Avenue
Vehicles will be towed if parked on emergency snow routes and violation of this provision can result in a fine of up to $100 and imprisonment up to 30 days.
