Carr Brothers’ Murder Sentences Overturned

The Kansas Supreme Court throws out three of the four capital murder convictions against Jonathan and Reginald Carr, the brothers accused of shooting four people to death in Wichita in 2000. The court ruled the judge in the case should’ve tried both men separately, not together, and the jurors got flawed instructions. The ruling also invalidates the death sentence against both men.
