The daughter of a man running against Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach in the GOP primary had her voter registration put on hold temporarily because of that proof-of-citizenship requirement that her Dad opposes. Scott Morgan says the Douglas County clerk’s office told his 18-year-old daughter that her registration was incomplete because she hadn’t presented proof of citizenship. While her registration was finally confirmed yesterday, Morgan says it’s evidence that there are issues with the proof-of-citizenship law.
