Brewster Man Dodges Jail Time In DUI Arrest

A man with nine prior drunk driving arrests is starting a 30-day house arrest sentence, and will then be under probation for a year after being convicted of DUI. James House was acquitted of the bigger charge, vehicular manslaughter, in the case which involved him running over and killing his friend in Brewster in 2012. In addition, House’s license was suspended at the time.
