Bill To Revamp Foster Care Includes Marriage, Stay-At-Home Incentives

A bill in the state Senate would give more money under a proposed foster care program to married couples who don’t drink or smoke and regularly go to church. State Senator Forrest Knox is behind the proposal, which he claims would provide more stability for kids. In
addition, only one of the parents could work outside the home. The bill gets a committee hearing tomorrow.
