AT&T fined for overcharging Kansas Lifeline

Kansas regulators have fined AT&T $15,000 for overcharging the state’s Lifeline program for a third year in a row. The fines stem from AT&T claiming Lifeline credit for customers who didn’t qualify for that subsidy for phone service. The company has paid back the overcharges.
