ACLU wants judge to do away with Kansas’ gay marriage laws

The American Civil Liberties Union is asking a federal judge to explicitly strike down Kansas’ gay marriage laws. The group says that even though the Supreme Court has legalized same-sex marriage, getting rid of Kansas’ moot statutes would help avoid any possible confusion in the future.
