A Push For More Dental Care

Several groups across Kansas are trying to get a new level of dental provider they believe could relieve a shortage of dentists. A bill was introduced in the last legislative session to create registered dental practitioners, but it didn’t get a hearing. Advocates like the Kansas Dental Project claim those positions would improve access to dental care.
